Laurie focuses on personal injury litigation. She began her career at the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office defending state agencies against negligence claims. She has also served as a Special Deputy commissioner within the North Carolina Industrial Commission where she reviewed agreements/settlements, and drafted decisions for Workers’ Compensation and Tort Claim cases. With experience in hundreds of hearings, Laurie is adept at trial strategy and leveraging evidence for optimal outcomes. Laurie lives in Raleigh, but travels across North Carolina offering flexible meeting arrangements with her clients.
Laurie enjoys domestic and international travel, being in nature, and trying to pack as many plants into her yard as will grow.
